551 Merton Street - Schools

Davisville Neighbourhood - Toronto Ontario

Maurice Cody School Merton Street Davisville Toronto Eugene Palermo

"Making A Difference In Our World"

Maurice Cody Public School (JK-6) was built in 1928 on Belsize Drive in the North Toronto area. The closest major intersection is Davisville and Bayview. The school has 650 students, the majority of whom come from homes where English is the first language. The school shares facilities with Toronto Parks and Recreation. Together with Parks and Recreation, we built the first Adventure Playground in 1975.  We have artificial turf (installed Nov. 2013) and our "Discovery Gardens" - a council ring, a spiral garden, and a meadow woodland garden.  The school also houses the Maurice Cody Child Care and the Maurice Cody Community Centre.
